Some days we just have to speak the truth over our situation. We have to speak to the darkness and force its retreat. We make our stand and wait expectantly because our hope is in the Lord and He will not disappoint. Hope means: a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen, a feeling of trust. I will let my words be few and instead let the Word speak loud. Let hope rise in your situation and let the darkness tremble.

Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the Lord. Psalms 31:24

For I hope in You, O Lord; You will answer, O Lord my God. Psalms 38:15

Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. Psalms 42:5

My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. Psalms 62:5

For You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my confidence from my youth. Psalms 71:5

But as for me, I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more. Psalms 71:14

Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 23:18

For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

“There is hope for your future,” declares the Lord, “And your children will return to their own territory. Jeremiah 31:17

“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:24

Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; This very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you. Zechariah 9:12

And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;  and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;  and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:3-5

But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it. Romans 8:25

rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, Roman 12:12

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:7

who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, He on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us, 2 Corinthians 1:10

Therefore having such a hope, we use great boldness in our speech. 2 Corinthians 3:12

according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death Philippians 1:20

I love the overwhelming theme of strength, boldness, courage and confidence in these verses. Let us take the first step of faith and place our hope in the One that conquered sin and death, once and for all. Is anything too difficult for him?
