Distress Inks are water based inks by Tim Holtz. I love that they come in tons of colors and 2 different sizes. They can be used for stamping, stenciling, or just adding color to your pages or edges. They are extremely versatile. Also, when they are activated with water they become almost like water color, so you can blend and make washes of color very easily. I highly recommend getting the blending tool for these, it makes using the stamps very quick and easy and they just wash and reuse.
Now with anything there are a couple things to be aware of when using in your bible. These are wet, so with any wet product I suggest prepping your page before using it. Also, if you want to stamp with these, great! Keep in mind, they are water based, so if you were going to water color over that stamp, your ink will activate too and it could be a mess.
